Power Vac America attends Two Great Conferences
The first
of March we found ourselves in San Diego for the National
Air Duct Cleaners Association’s (NADCA)19th Annual Meeting
and Exposition. The weather was great and so was the
conference. The annual meeting included several “CEC
Training” sessions and the opportunity to discuss tips,
techniques, and tools with other duct cleaners around the
world.
At the
end of April we were in Austin for the Texas Association of
Physical Plant Administrators (TAPPA) conference and
Business Partner Fair.

Energy Saving
Proof is on the Way
We all
know there is a relationship between a well maintained HVAC
system, the pressure drop and
energy savings,
but we haven’t had the scientific proof to
show our customers.
I am pleased to announce that the National
Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) has engaged a team of
researchers from the University of Colorado to undertake a
two-year study titled “The Correlation between HVAC System
Pressure Drop and Energy Savings.”

After an extremely cool and mild Spring, Summer
has finally arrived in Houston
The second article regarding Energy Savings and
pressure drops associated with a well maintained
and clean HVAC systems is worth the read. This
is the best project NADCA has undertaken.
