America receives 2004 Safety Award
POWER
VAC AMERICA was presented the Outstanding Achievement Safety
Award by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA). At the
annual meeting and exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 7th
through 11th, 2004, the National Air Duct Cleaners Association
presented this award to POWER VAC AMERICA in recognition of its
outstanding safety record of non-fatal occupational injury and
illness incidence rates in 2002, 2003, and 2004 which were
calculated to be less than the industry average using standardized
formulas developed by the National safety and Health Council
POWER
VAC AMERICA has received the Safety Award from NADCA since
1998. The application submitted to NADCA included POWER VAC
AMERICA’S 2004 OSHA 300 Logs representing all zeros on the incident
report and “No Reported Injuries”.
POWER
VAC AMERICA’S safety and health manual was adopted from NADCA’S
safety and health manual and will be updated to reflect the changes
in the new NADCA safety and health manual.
POWER
VAC AMERICA’S staff has also spent many hours at the Houston
Area Safety Council taking their Basic Plus training, Home Land
Security training, Confined space training, Lock/Tag/Try training
and several “site” specific training and testing classes.
POWER
VAC AMERICA is proud of it’s safety record and strives to meet
and satisfy the safety requirements of OSHA, NADCA, HASC, and all of
it’s customers.
