honored to have been accepted as a member of the American
Subcontractors Association.
In 1966 the
American Subcontractors Association was founded in Washington D.C.
Its founders saw a need for an organization that could bring
together subcontractors of all trades and labor practices to address
common business management needs. In 1974 the Houston Chapter
of ASA was formed. Today there are more than 3500 member companies
throughout the United States and more than 130 in Houston who
benefit from the education, networking, and advocacy ASA offers to
its members.

construction industry through advocacy, communication, education and
networking.
Vision/Values ASA-Houston
Chapter is the voice dedicated to improving the business
environment for subcontractors and specialty contractors in the
construction industry. The organization values equitable business
practices, integrity, quality construction and a safe and healthy
work environment and serves subcontractors and specialty contractors
in the construction industry through advocacy, communication,
