Power Vac America
attends Two Great Conferences
NADCA
- 19th Annual Meeting
The first of March we found ourselves in San Diego
for the National Air Duct Cleaners Association’s (NADCA)19th Annual
Meeting and Exposition. The weather was great and so was the
conference. The annual meeting included several “CEC Training”
sessions and the opportunity to discuss tips, techniques, and tools
with other duct cleaners around the world.
The CEC training courses included:
-
Tips & Techniques: Air
Handler Refurbishment - This included a detailed presentation on
the application of Pancrete (drain pan restoration) and
re-insulating the interior of air handler units with closed cell
insulation. This are both services that we provide, but
still learned some time saving and safety tips
-
Duct Leakage: The IAQ
Connection - Even though we are not currently offering Blow Door
and Duct Blaster testing, this presentation pointed out some of
the obvious things to look for and be aware of dealing with
pressures in a house.
-
Coating Applications in HVAC
Systems - We could have presented this class, but again, I came
away with some good ideas from this class.
NADCA provided a CD with the
Power Points Presentations for these three courses. Upon
arriving back in Houston, we spend an entire day going through the
presentation with the entire staff. Needless to say, all of
the good tips and ideas coming from the presentations have been incorporated
into our process.
We are
committed to the highest level of professional quality, maintaining and
developing industry standards, and continuing technical and
safety training. These types of programs provided by
NADCA helps us achieve our goals.
And last but not least,
Power Vac America received the NADCA safety award for another year.

Energy

discussion at our booth.
We always enjoy
seeing all of our friends from TAPPA.
