Solve the problem!! Don't Just Treat the Symptoms!

Power Vac America believes that Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) professionals should be problem solversThe company invest in training, licensing, certification, continuing education, quality control, and state of the art equipment.  Working together with other IAQ specialist...

Our goal is to improve the flow of healthful air by helping residential, industrial, and commercial clients to assess and remediate the IAQ problem.

Major Causes for Poor IAQ

  • The presence of indoor air pollutant sources…
  • Poorly designed, maintained, or operated ventilation systems...
  • Uses of the building that were unanticipated or poorly planned when the building was designed or renovated...
  • Lack of properly implemented coil cleaning procedures.

Antifungal / Antibacterial Treatment

Microbial contamination of HVAC systems or structures may indicate severe problems.  Look for the root cause first.  Investigate, isolate and remove the contaminates.  Then take steps to prevent and control the recontamination.

Every building's IAQ is unique because of construction, mechanical systems, maintenance history and types of usage.

After complete and proper cleaning of the HVAC system to all NADCA standards and EPA guidelines, the appropriate areas of the HVAC system are resurfaced with the FOSTER 40-30 ANTI-BACTERIAL/ANTI-FUNGAL RESURFACING COATING.  This resurfacing product is EPA registered for use in air conditioning systems and on contaminated walls and ceilings for microbial control.

FOSTER 40-30 is a low odor, quick setting water-based surfacing material designed for field or shop application to faced or unfaced fiberglass duct liner, fiberglass duct board insulation or galvanized surfaces. It is formulated to effectively prevent the spread of molds and odor-causing bacteria on its surface with long term activity. Its low viscosity allows for application with virtually any type of spray equipment now available to the market.

FOSTER 40-30 guards against the re-growth and spread of odor causing bacteria and molds on the surface of the coated HVAC system or its treated components only. As a result, the building occupants may enjoy a work space free of the odor problems often associated with contaminated HVAC duct systems.

FOSTER 40-30 dries to form an effective air erosion preventive surfacing material  sealing and reinforcing the surface of new or aged duct liner insulation materials.
