Our Cleaning Process
Technicians arrive and review scope of work with the client
- The HVAC System and Air Duct Cleaning Process Begins.
The Air Conditioning system
is put under negative pressure
-
The system is surveyed and the vacuum hose is assembled and run from
the truck to the air handler in the attic. The vacuum system is
started and will remain running throughout the entire cleaning
process
All components of the unit are cleaned
-
The entire air handler is cleaned including the return, blower, heat
exchanger, and coils.
All ceiling registers (vents)
are removed and cleaned
-
All the registers are removed from the rooms and taken outside for
cleaning and sanitizing
The rotary power brush is used to clean each duct run
-
Each duct is cleaned from the outlets in the rooms all the way back
to the distribution plenum with our rotating power brush
Next the system is sanitized and air leaks repaired
-
An
anti-microbial treatment (EPA Registered) that kills and retards the
regrowth of mold, mildew, algae, fungi and other disease causing
spores is misted into the duct system (if/when necessary). This
product is proven safe for air systems
The
distribution/supply plenum is resurfaced and the system returned
to service -
After cleaning, the distribution plenum is resurfaced with an EPA
registered anti-bacterial/anti-fungal coating to help prevent fungal
growth and protect the internal liner from air erosion degradation.
